Our Story

The name Dirty Sledder originated at the Fernie ski hill, dropping off skiers before heading out for the day. Graham drove a giant, loud, lifted truck and had a sled deck loaded with two sleds. This caught the attention of a woman, smoking a cigarette outside the lodge, she coughed, pointed at the truck and said “look at that Dirty Sledder.”

The phrase stuck and was first adopted among Graham’s family and the saying continued on for the next couple of years, until Dirty Sledder was officially created. The name represents a sledding culture of those who truly enjoy sledding and everything that comes with a day on the mountain.

As an avid sledder of ten plus years and someone who simply loves sledding, Graham knew there was an angle for Dirty Sledder and sharing the sledding lifestyle with others. Fast forward to 2022, Graham began searching for a sled deck for the upcoming season, a Limitless deck in particular. After being unable to find a Limitless distributor in his area, Graham reached out and obtained distributor rights from Limitless for the distribution and sale of their products.

Dirty Sledder now acts as the Limitless distributor for Southern Alberta and the British Columbia Kootenays providing a tailored purchase experience for every deck buyer, specializing in deck consultations, sales, installation and trade-ins.

In 2024 Dirty Sledder set out on a mission to find Canadian brands that we love and trust, expanding our dealer offerings and enhancing a day of riding for our customers. We are now also proud to carry and facilitate sled bumper and accessories orders from Remer’s Renderings and working with Recoil industries providing another deck option for those looking for ramp-less loading capabilities for work or play.

In addition to sled deck sales, Dirty Sledder aims to celebrate and feature the sledding culture by supporting local organizations and providing a platform for those who simply love riding. From music playing in the staging area to friends sharing laughs and excitement over fresh snow and a couple days off work to the lifted trucks, graphic sled wraps, obnoxious exhausts – these experiences, feelings and nuances are what make Dirty Sledder.

Owned and operated by husband and wife duo, Graham and Mya Dugdale are the faces behind Dirty Sledder. Together, they aim to create a relatable brand that represents all of the Dirty Sledders out there while ensuring their customers are happy and looked after. As grain farmers in Southern Alberta, the two spend the majority of their springs and summers in the field and on the farm; however, when winter hits you will find them getting customer setup for the winter months and headed to the mountains with family for riding and skiing.
